Workout Wednesdays

Okay so thanks to my new job my exercise routine is all messed up again, so now I'm aiming just to get about five miles a day done.  And that's about 35 miles a week which is about a pound to a pound and a half lost each week.  Which is the recommended amount Doctors preach about.  LOL! Guess God's trying to tell me to do this thing the right way.  But recently on the Steve Harvey show I saw this detox/juice diet that looked interesting.  It's a pound a day detox called the Martha Vineyard Diet Detox by Dr. Roni Deluz and James Hester.  Now I've always been a little skeptical of detoxes.  Mostly because I don't see how one can stay full and satisfied.  But looking at the preview pages at amazon.com, I admit this one seems doable.  The detox is only part two of a three part plan.  The authors, a registered nurse and a writer who went through the detox and convinced Dr. DeLuz to publish the diet, are also both believers in God so that's a plus.  And from what I read so far it seems to be more about giving your body a rest and reteaching yourself moderation with a detox.  Maybe I'll order the book when I get the money and give it a shot.  What do I have to lose? Oh yeah...weight...
