Bonjour Mickey!

Croissant de Triomphe on Disney Video So as I may have mentioned I'm a big Disney fan. So imagine my joy when I discovered that they had made new Mickey Mouse cartoons. Nineteen of them. Count them. Nineteen! And apparently they take place all around the world so we get to travel with Mickey! The first is croissant de tri-opmhe, which I posted a link to above. It takes place in Paris and not only is the style vintage Mickey as Walt and the boys would have drawn him in the thirties, the animators even went one step further and made Mickey and the gang speak french! ooh la la! It begins with Minnie serving her customers in her cafe. But when everyone orders croissants, imagine her que horreurs that she's fresh out! She mades a panicked call to her friend Daisy at the patisserie who immediately sends Mickey and his adorable little scene stealing scooter racing through Paris traffic (and Paris landmarks) to save the day. Ah Disney. Will you ever fail to disappoint? It's really a cute cartoon sure to make you smile. Plus us world travel wannabes get a quick tour through Paris. Bonus. And stay tuned until June 28 when they start rolling out the rest of the shorts. Vive le Mickey!
