Aloha cyber stalkers! For this first edition of Far Away Fridays I'm going to share with you one of the getaway destinations that I think would be awesome to stay at. That is none other than the Disney Aulani Resort and Spa on the Hawaiian isle of O'ahu in the town of Ko Olina. It's 17 miles from Honolulu International Airport and a quick drive to Wakaki. It's close to Turtle Bay, the North Shore and for you outdoorsie types, you can hike the nearby rainforest and find waterfalls. But for you shopaholics like me, there's the Halihali Shopping Shuttle that takes one to all the nearby shops and outlets. Sweet! As far as transport options you can take The Bus, the trolley, rent a car, moped or motorcycle or take a taxi. I think the most cost effective options would he the shuttle and the trolley. But if I'm wrong leave me a comment. Hint hint, nudge nudge. And look at all that Aulani has to offer.

Plus dining and a spa for the whole family all in the middle of a gorgeous resort that really look meticulous care to celebrate Hawaiian tradition and culture. Ahh...now does anybody have an extra $4000 dollars (if I'm getting a good deal on airfare)? Cause that is the cost of 1 person for six days. Yeah...and that's what really makes this Far Away Fridays folks.
